Bullpadel presents the ELITE: Gemma Triay´s new racket
The waiting has been worth it. We can finally announce the arrival of the ELITE racket. Introducing Gemma Triay's flaming new partner: elegance and power in equal parts. A new hybrid shape, closer to the teardrop format to develop the full potential of Gemma's attacking game but adding a medium balance to control her strength.
The core is reinforced at the arms to achieve a greater moment of inertia in the racket. In this way, we achieve a considerable firmness in order to improve the torsion that occurs when hitting. We have introduced some edges in the upper part of the core with the intention of achieving a concavity that manages to absorb the tensions that can be produced with each stroke.
Our latest technology, AIR REACT CHANNEL, gives it the added bonus of lightness and aerodynamics. The vibradrive, an elastomer that crosses the length of the grip and prevents vibrations, makes the new ELITE the most technologically advanced racket in the brand's range.
With a double design in the colour of our logo (the letter B), each side of the racket offers an elegant but different version. Designed to enhance Gemma's qualities and help her in her game system. The ELITE makes the breakthrough to all padel courts with the intention of bringing power and elegance in equal parts.
What does Gemma highlight about her racket?
Bullpadel: What does this new racket bring to your game?
Gemma Triay: Being a shape between diamond and round, it certainly gives me power but at the same time control. I consider it to be a very easy to play with a wide sweet spot.
B: How was the process of creating it together with Bullpadel designers?
G.T: Both Pali and I were very clear that we wanted my racket to be elegant and sophisticated. We wanted something that wasn't on the market and I think we got it. I was given several colour proposals and we both agreed on the cream, gold and black colour. It was brave and innovative, but definitely elegant.
B: How much does it affect how comfortable you feel with your racket on the court?
G.T: It is EVERYTHING! I say it in capital letters because if you don't feel comfortable with your racket, unfortunately you get doubts, mistrust and you don't play calmly. Luckily, my adaptation was very quick and from the beginning we found out which materials I liked the most. I am delighted with the ELITE.
B: How did you come up with the idea of each side of the racket being a different colour?
G.T: At first I had doubts whether to put the B in black or gold. The gold was a bolder choice and the black was more conservative. So we ordered both to see them live. I liked them both so much that when I had them in my hand I didn't know which one to choose. I asked them if we could make one of each colour and they accepted immediately.
