VERTEX 02 2020: the racket of Number 1, Maxi Sánchez

The final stretch of 2019 season begins and with it, we welcome the 2020 novelties and innovations. We have chosen the Vertex 2 20 to kick off the year, being the flagship of the brand and an essential working tool for Nº1, Maxi Sánchez.

We have taken care of every detail of the new Vertex 02 20. Consisting of a diamond-shaped racket, with maximum power, high performance and no control loss. As usual in the Vertex PROLINE range, it will continue with the rough Topspin surface for greater grip and ball effect. Its external core is composed by Xtend Carbon 12K carbon, its inner core by the new MultiEva rubber and its CarbonTube carbon frame by carbon fiber 100%. It counts with Metalshield protector, which adapts to the new System of Weight Plates CustomWeight, allowing to modify the balance of the padel racket according to the player’s needs. It has Vibradrive system for vibration absorption, Vertex heart and Nerve channels on the side of the racket frame. In addition, it includes the innovative Hesacore grip, which reduces the player’s effort, the racket vibration and the probability of injury.

In the lines below, you can find all of the racket’s features, specially highlighting two important innovations for the next season: MultiEva rubber and NanoPaint paint at its heart:

MULTI EVA

The new MultiEva consists of 2 densities, the outer layer of the rubber is more compact, reacting against the fast balls offering greater power output. The inner layer of lower density responds to the slower balls obtaining greater control in the beating.

NANO PAINT

NanoPaint is an exclusive painting developed for Bullpadel with nanoparticles that highlight colors and gives greater intensity to the Vertex heart. The design has been created to give even more strength to one of the most significant parts of the racket. Its metallic orange symbolizes the intense fire of an authentic jewel.

PROTECTOR CUSTOM WEIGHT

Located in the new compartments that have the Metalshield protector, where you can place up to 3 aluminum adhesive plates of 3 grams each, allowing to modify the weight and balance of the racket, obtaining greater control, power or balance depending on the needs of each player. 

GRIP CUSTOM WEIGHT 

The GripCustomWeight system, is located in the fist because it has a plug that can be replaced by another 5 or 10 grams depending on the control needed by each player.

TOPSPIN

Topspin is a rough finish surface that increases the grip, echieving a greater effect of the ball in contact with the racket. 

VIBRADRIVE

Vibradrive is a mounting system in which a highly elastic rubber piece is sandwiched  dividing the handle in half . This piece absorbs most of the vibrations in the game, especially on off-center hits.

NERVE

Nerve system is based on the creation of channels on the frame side, increasing the rigidity, reducing the weight and getting more control in strokes. 

VERTEX

The Vertex core distributes both weight and force eliminating vibrations, reducing torque and increasing rigidity, with its diamond shaped frame, provide solid volley and maximum hitting power. 

CARBONTUBE

Consists in the construction of the racket frame with 100% carbon biderecctional intrlaced. This construction provides maximum mechanical response to our rackets ensuring a perfect compromise between power and control. 

XTCARBON12K

Xtend Carbon fiber used carbon tapes biaxially interwoven. Thanks to this, you get more resistance, rigidity and less weight,  being a 20-30% lighter than the common carbon fiber.
